Rafał Marek Wiśniewski – Graduated in the Primary and Secondary Music School in Gdańsk. He is currently a student at the S. Moniuszko in Gdańsk.
He is a laureate of over 13 international and national competitions, both solo and in chamber ensembles, including competitions in Moscow, Sarajevo, Stockholm, Filadelfia, Berlin as well as Gdańsk, Elbląg and Lublin. He has performed many times as a soloist with the OSM orchestra in Gdańsk, the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and BalticAlians with maestro George Tchitchinadze.
He had the pleasure of working with, among others, Agata Szymczewska, Jakub Jakowicz, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Yuko Kawai, Thanos Adamopoulos, Maciej Rakowski, Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, Włodzimierz Promiński, Mariusz Błaszczyk, Alena Baeva, Robert Kwiatkowski, Krystyna Jurecka, Karolina Jurecka, Piątkowska-Nowicka, Christian Elliott and Adrian Varela.
As an orchestral musician, he has collaborated with many orchestras in Poland. He was a member of the first violin group Lutosławski Youth Orchestra 2015, and a member of the first violin group (2 chair) distinguished at the auditions of the Polish Youth Orchestra LYO 2016. Thanks to this, he had the opportunity to cooperate with musicians from the Philharmonia Orchestra from London and perform on Polish Radio.
He was a co-founder of the Polish Kameralna N-Harmonia string orchestra and the BalticAlians chamber orchestra. He completed the international Music.Multimedia.Management program in the Team Management area.
In his artistic achievements, he managed to get the scholarship of the President of the City of Gdańsk for outstanding artistic achievements in 2019 and 2020, the Mobility Fund Scholarship 2018 and 2019 and the scholarship of the Rector of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk for the best students in 2019.
